Excellent report for St Joseph's
Thursday March 04, 2010
Excellent report for St Joseph's St Joseph’s Primary has been dubbed ‘excellent’ four times over, and has also earned one ‘very good’.

The accolades were awarded by HM Inspectors of Education in their report, one of the best primary reports so far issued in Scotland.

The education watchdogs awarded the ‘excellents’, the highest category possible, for improvements in performance, meeting learning needs, the curriculum and improvement through self-evaluation. The ‘Very Good’ was for learners’ experiences.

Head teacher Carlyn Hill said: “Everyone at St Joseph’s is delighted with the report. It is a tribute to the hard work of our pupils, staff and parents.”

Councillor Alan Lafferty, East Renfrewshire education convener, said: “I congratulate Carlyn and the whole school on this superb report.”
