Hamlet performance this Saturday night

A stellar cast of some of Scotland’s finest actors will take to Eastwood Park Theatre’s stage on Saturday.In a modern take on Shakespeare’s classic Hamlet, the 10 strong cast will be headed up by one of Scotland’s most exciting new stars, Grant O’Rourke, in the title role.
Scottish theatre legend Dave Anderson is back in a leading paternal role having played Gregory’s dad in the smash movie hit Gregory’s Girl, he now plays Hamlet’s old man.
The other high profile actors include Valerie Gogan, who starred alongside John Malkovich in Dangerous Liaisons.
Set in the contemporary Glasgow underworld, Hamlet is caught between the idealistic world of his university, and the world of terror and death that his criminal family represent.
The production is created by acclaimed director Michael Emans, who said: “This is a production for those that love theatre, those that love thrillers and those that love Hamlet."
